Artificial Mind & Movement inc. (A2M) has been named to
Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50, the annual program which recognizes excellence,
innovation and the fastest growing tech companies in Canada. Rankings are based on
percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 2001–2005.
Rémi Racine, A2M’s President and CEO, credits A2M’s know-how and culture for the company’s
enviable revenue growth from 2001-2005. He said, ”At A2M, we deliberately decided to adopt a
very structured approach within a rather “chaotic” industry. This means that our games are
developed from a unique production process and one single technology making us very agile
and effective. In addition, A2M’s culture is focused on good work environment and proves to be
a strong asset to attract resources that are so scarce in our field, thus giving us a competitive
edge.”
A2M's increase in revenues of 263 percent from 2001 to 2005 resulted in a 49th ranking overall
in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50. “To rank on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, companies
must have phenomenal revenue growth over five years,” said John Ruffolo, National Leader,
Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte. Artificial Mind and Movement has proven to
be one of the fast-growth success stories in Canada, and we applaud their success and vision.”
Winners of the 10 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are
automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s
top 500 fastest growing technology companies. For more information on the Fast 50 or Fast 500
